Turns out that it is possible to grow plants on the Moon…
…although you might want to wear gloves while farming, since the “soil” contains tiny pieces of glass from constant bombardment.
And also is irradiated (no magnetic field protection).
And has very few of the minerals necessary (which is why the researchers had to add some).
But it’s possible. Better than bringing tons of dirt from Earth 🌏.
Still think hydroponics is the way to go.
